As most of you know, I specialize in 4 genres : family, maternity, fresh 48, and senior portraits. I get asked ALL the time if I do engagement sessions or just “couples” portraits. The answer is YES! I adore my Cozy Couple sessions! In fact, I offer Cozy Couple Minis each year around Valentine’s Day but sessions are not limited to those minis each year.
The goal for this type of session is to capture your personalities. Sure, we’ll get those typical “posed” images but I like to dig a little deeper and capture the essence of your relationship. These should be fun, loose, and carefree. Don’t stress about how your smile looks, if your hair is blowing in the wind, or if you’re sitting just right. Relax. Enjoy the moment. Enjoy your partner.
If you have had a session with me, you know that I tend to go back and forth between posed and candid. I tell you to do crazy things and sometimes even talk about farting. (I know, I know. So taboo!) But I want big laughs and heck, if I can summon a snort…I’ve done my job!
