Mollie and the Dress That Broke the Internet
If you have followed along this prom season, chances are you’ve seen the dress.
You know the one.
The dress that somehow found its way across facebook feeds, group chats, and timelines. The dress that had complete strangers stopping to ask, “Where did she get it?!” The dress that turned an already beauitful prom dress into one of the most talked about senior proms of the season.
But here’s what I love most : while everyone remembers the dress, those of us who know Mollie remember the girl wearing it. She looked like a modern day Cinderella. The viral dress may have grabbed everyone’s attention, but her personality is what made those images unforgettable.
As a senior photographer, I love watching seniors find their style. Prom isn’t just about a dress. It’s about celebrating friendships, milestones, and those fleeting moments before graduation arrives and life changes forever.
If you’re here from the one of the viral prom photos, welcome! While this website is primarily dedicated to my family and couple clients, you can find even more senior sessions, prom inspiration, spokesmodel adventures, and Class of 2027 content over at my senior website :
Trust me, you’ll want to see what the seniors have been up to. And yes, the famous dress is waiting for you there, too. If you’re looking for a senior photographer in Panama City Beach, FL OR Carrollton, GA, I’m your girl.
Until next time,

Lifestyle Mommy and Me Session ll Downtown Carrollton, GA
Hey guys!
I am so sorry for the lack of blogs lately! I PROMISE I am going to make these more frequently. I’m starting 2020 out with one of my favorite Mommy & Me sessions to date. These girls ROCKED their session. Take a look.
So
Cute!!
Mom hugs are the best.
These images were taken downtown in the small city of Carrollton, Georgia. Carrollton is located just southwest of Atlanta. There is just something so mesmerizing about downtown. I don’t know if it’s the southern charm or the modern-chic vibe the square gives, but I am absolutely captivated by this background.
I love the building that is showcased in the image above. It’s GORGEOUS! But that’s not the only thing making this image pop. The sweet interaction between family members is what I LIVE for! Sure, we’ll get those posed shots out of the way but I want you to engage with your loved ones. There is nothing sweeter than looking back at a picture that displays your admiration.
Also, take a look at their wardrobe choices. I cannot stress wardrobe enough. My editing style looks best with dressier attire. I highly recommend dressy or dressy-casual for a session with Destiney Ford Photography. If you wouldn’t consider it your Sunday best, I wouldn’t recommend that outfit for your session. Hoodies, sneakers, sunglasses, baseball caps, blue jeans are all on my “avoid” list.
Another key to outfit choices — Coordinate but don’t be too “matchy”. Take a look at mom and daughter up there. Mom is wearing a beautiful tea;-green dress with an orange floral print. She has baby girl dressed in an orange corduroy dress. The daughter’s dress compliment’s mom’s dress. Having the different textures also makes your images look more interesting. I always recommend multiple textures - lace, corduroy, cotton, etc . Then layer that textured outfit in a different material - jacket, scarf, etc. Accessories are just as important as your outfit. They add more detail to your images.
